By installing any of the following ENERGY STAR appliances, you can lower your energy use, control your utility bill and receive rebates based on the following incentive amounts.
Island Energy Appliance Efficiency Program Application Guidelines
It is very important that you carefully read the customer information guidelines listed below. By accessing, completing and then signing the Application, you are indicating that you have read and that you understand and agree to the following:
Qualifying Energy Star-rated products are listed on the Environmental Protection Agency’s Web site at www.energystar.gov. In addition to the Energy Star Web site, qualifying clothes washers are also listed on the Consortium for Energy Efficiency’s Web site at www.cee1.org.
Applicant currently receives electric service from Island Energy. The appliance(s) must be installed within the Island Energy service area.
Complete and sign an application.Include an original, or legible copy, of your paid sales receipts or invoices, which must include: The product’s brand name; Manufacturer model number; The purchase price and date; and The product’s efficiency information. Note: A clothes washer purchased on or after May 1, 2005, must have a Water Factor (WF) of 5.0 or lower to qualify for a rebate.
A signed application and legible copies of your paid sales receipts for each appliance must be submitted to Island Energy’s office at the address listed below. To expedite your application, include a copy of your recent Island Energy Utilities bill
Application packages submitted online via e-mail must include a scanned copy of a completed and signed application, along with scanned copies of purchase receipts and all other supporting documentation.
The rebate offer is on a first-come, first-served basis and is effective until funding is expended or the program is discontinued by Island Energy
Applicant understands and agrees that Island Energy or its representative may inspect the installed appliance before the rebate is issued.
Applicant agrees that any rebate may be credited toward any delinquent utility bill(s) for which the customer is responsible whether the account(s) is open or closed.
Applicant understands that Island Energy may withhold payment of rebates until all of the conditions listed above are met.
Island Energy does not warrant, endorse or assume liability for the quality, performance or safety of the contractor and/or retailer or wholesaler. Performance of any product and acceptance of materials used is solely the customer’s responsibility.
Customer is responsible for meeting all program guidelines and for checking with state/county/city governments and homeowner’s association (if any) in the area regarding local conditions, restrictions, codes, ordinances, rules and regulations prior to installation.
